Very bright and straw colour with notes of dried fruits, white fruits and toasted soft spices (cinnamon, vanilla).
Great matched with Chicken of Bresse and truffle sauce.
Vincent Brochet 3gr Extra Brut Premier Cru 2007
30% Chardonnay and 70% Pinot Noir.
A low dosage of 3 grams per litre gives this wine a beautiful freshness and minerality. Aromas of compote fruit and candied pinneaples follow through to the full, long palate. This vintage comes from the 2007 harvest and was bottled in spring 2008 in limited quantities (numbered up to 2000 bottles).
A fabulous match with seafood dishes.
Vincent Brochet ‘Espionne’ Premier Cru 2002
45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir.
Vincent Brochet reserves only the best grapes for the Cuvée Espionne. This wine is the jewel of the house – with intense aromas and roasted characteristics reminisent of caramel and grilled brioche.
This powerful bubbly is intended to be served with a meal (try duck in orange sauce!).
Vilmart ‘Grande Cellier d’Or’ 2010
Chardonnay (80% ) Pinot Noir (20%).
A fine champagne aged for 10 months in oak barrels with no malolactic fermentation. The nose is fresh, complex and intense, with melted butter, candied pineapple, dried fruit, pralines and mineral notes.The wine continues to evolve in the glass with aromas of cinnamon and gingerbread – a very high class nose, distinguished and rare. The palate is lively and invigorating. The imperceptible dosage and crisp acidity of the wine gives a sharpness, which is balanced by the fine bubbles. The finish is very long and concludes with grapefruit and pralines.
