Sono is a fine dining Japanese restaurant which takes full advantage of an idyllic water front location (at Portside Wharf) to showcase its refined (and somewhat ‘fusion’) cuisine.
The glimmering views of the river, the tranquil atmosphere inside the restaurant and the staff’s friendly welcome immediately put me at ease and I was eager to jump straight into the well regarded ‘Tasting Menu’ (a degustation style offering which I had already – firmly – decided I was going to order months before I finally made my visit).
